Document Requirements & Verification

Upon receipt of an application with scans or clear photos of academic documents, Monarch Evaluations will begin work on your evaluation. Monarch requires verification of postsecondary study (e.g. associate, bachelor, master). Monarch must receive the documents directly from the issuing institution OR applicants can pay $50 and we will reach out to the issuing institution for you to confirm the authenticity of the scans/photos you provide on your application. In general, Monarch Evaluations can provide you with your evaluation while verification is in process. Monarch Evaluations retains the right to hold an evaluation until verification is complete at its discretion.  

Documentation must be submitted for all evaluations. For reports other than General evaluations, transcripts are required in addition to degree certificates/diplomas. Applicants can submit scans or photos and/or have their previous institutions send documentation directly to Monarch Evaluations. If the original language documents are not in English, translations must be provided. Alternatively, Monarch Evaluations can provide translations for an additional fee. 

Applicants can upload scans or clear photos of their documentation, including translations if applicable, to the online application. 

Applicants can have their previous institutions send confirmation of any qualifications earned and transcripts directly to Monarch Evaluations via email to verification@monarchevaluations.com from the registrar/records office official email address or via a secure document sharing platform formally linked to the sending institution. 

Another option for verification is to pay for the Monarch Verification Service. For $50 Monarch Evaluations will reach out to an applicant's previous institution to verify the documentation that was uploaded to the application. Please be advised that if institutions abroad charge additional fees to reply to Monarch's requests, those charges will be passed along to the applicant.
